Day 1: Arriva Casa Blanca – Rabat–  Riad Kalaa, 

Meet and greet at Casablanca airport, then begin the city tour with an outside visit of Hassan II mosque, Ain Diab
Corniche for a walk along the coast, Mohammed V Square in the city center.  At 12:00 PM, Enjoy lunch at Rick’s
Cafe then transfer to Rabat for a brief tour that covers the entrance to the royal palace. Overnight in Rabat.

Overnight: Riad Kalaa

Riad Kalaa housed in an old house dating back to 1815 is located in Rabat, Morocco. Accommodation options include room 1000 parfums, Saharan suite, eastern suite, and star suite. Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, internet access, and a safety deposit box. Some of the rooms have an open fire. The wooden terraces host a swimming pool, the hammam spa and the restaurant offering traditional Moroccan cuisine – making this place a unique place in Rabat.

  

Day 2: Riad Salam Fes, Fes

RABAT – MEKNES & VOLUBILIS – FES B         
After breakfast, visit the picturesque Kasbah des Oudayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan Tower and
the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. We will set out for Meknes via the cork -forest road to visit the massive ramparts
and King Moulay Ismael mosque and stables built to accommodate 12,000 horses. Continue east towards Volubilis
and visit the splendid Roman ruins and the nearby town of Moulay Idriss: the holiest Muslim site in Morocco.    We
will end our day in Fes.

Fes

Morocco’s second-largest city and the country’s former capital, Fes (Fez) is an exotic mix of Arabic architecture, ancient alleyways calls to prayer and colorful markets; all mixed in with a good dose of modern culture. Home to the venerated Karaouine Mosque, which dates back to 859 AD and incorporates an Islamic university, and to the country’s most hallowed shrine, the Zaouia Moulay Idriss II; Fes is regarded as the spiritual seat of Morocco. Music lovers should try to synchronize their trips with the annual Festival of Sacred Music, one of the highlights of the city’s cultural calendar showcasing diverse performances of spiritual and religious music; while those with a penchant for shopping  can browse the mesmerizing colorful markets selling an exquisite array of silver, leather and other handicrafts up for grabs.

Overnight: Riad Salam Fes

Riad Salam Fes is a luxury hotel located in a quiet corner of the medina of Fez. Medersa Bou ‘Inania and Al Quaraouiyine University are a short distance from the property. Day 3: Fes

A fascinating day lies ahead in medieval Fez, the cultural heart of the country. Founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss I, this imperial city was the capital of Morocco for more than 400 years and an important center of learning. Enter the blue Moorish-style Bab Bou Jeloud gate that takes us into the 1200-year-old bustling streets of the Old Quarter  (Fez el Bali) leading to a  maze of narrow winding lanes and countless souks selling fragrant spices and endless arrays of local crafts. Stop to see the workers in the famous tanneries. On to view the intricately detailed exterior of 9th-century Karaouine, one of the oldest, still-functioning universities in the world and Nejjarine Square with its elaborate mosaic tile fountain.  After lunch, visit the historic  Jewish  Quarter, now being restored. Nearby, there is an old Jewish cemetery, ancient synagogue, and museum. In the evening, we will head to a traditional Hammam.  You will be immersed in total relaxation listening to your own body in reconciliation with yourself in an atmosphere filled with water, oils, essences, and perfumes. Enjoy 45 minutes of scrub with black soap or spices for relaxation and eliminating toxins from the body.  After  Hammam, sway to the massage place where you will enjoy a tonic massage of the Moroccan tradition that helps to eliminate tensions in order to regain energy and vitality. Back to your hotel to relax and overnight in Fes.

Day 4: Desert Camp Jaimas Madu, Erg Chebbi Desert  

Fes – Erfoud – Merzouga 
Leaving Fez this morning, we drive through the Middle Atlas into the south with a break in the quiet French-built
alpine resort  town of IIfrance, we continue our journey while we enjoy the views of verdant cedar forests, volcanic
mountains, wind-swept plains, spectacular gorges, and stony desert. We travel along the marvelous oasis of the Ziz
Valley before arriving Erfoud, the port of entry to the Saharan dunes and sits at the southern end of the Ziz Oasis.
Known by the name of “the Gate of Sahara  Desert”, it was built new by the French around the 1920s as a French administrative outpost and Foreign Legion stronghold. This frontier town on the Algerian border has a definite Wild West (in this case, Wild South) feel to it. Fossilized bathtubs and moist, sweet dates are its current claims to fame, though it was once the end of the road and then overland to Merzouga, the heart of the desert, and serf the sandy sea on a powerful 4 WD Land Rover. Dinner and overnight at the desert Camp.

Erg Chebbi Desert

Situated in the vast desert region of the Saharan Morocco, dividing Morocco and Algeria, Erg Chebbi is one of two Moroccan ‘ergs’, which are a sea of dunes. What it lacks in size- compared to the deserts of Algeria, Libya, and Namibia- it makes up for in its extraordinarily scenic golden landscape. The dunes of Erg Chebbi span over 30 kilometers and rise up to 160 meters. Merzouga is the tourist center of Erg Chebbi, where the camel trips into the desert depart from. Visitors can look forward to staying overnight in a desert oasis called a Moroccan bivouac, camel riding or quad biking through the sea of dunes and watching the dunes change color as the sun sets

Overnight: Desert Camp Jaimas Madu

Desert Camp Jaimas Madu is a luxury camp located in the Erg Chebbi Merzouga area. Overlooking the Golden Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes, guests can experience golden sunrises and sunsets, and learn about Berber culture and customs. The accommodation of Berber-style tents is spacious and elegantly decorated and features a private bathroom with shower. Breakfast includes a selection of bread, fruits, and yogurt.

 

Day 5: Dar Chamaa, Ouarzazate 

Merzouga – Tinghir – Ouarzazate BD
Enjoy an early morning sunrise camel ride along the golden sand dunes in Merzouga. Return to for breakfast before
driving to Tinghir via Rissani and Tinjdad. Tinghir is a gorgeous, 40km oasis, which boasts one of the largest palm
groves in the country. Enjoy  walking at the  famous Todra Gorge, a 300m  wall, carved deep into the High  Atlas
Mountains. Leave Tinghir heading to Dades and its charming valley. Stop there to take pictures then continue along
to Kelaat M’Gouna, a large village famous for cultivating roses. Expect to find many fine, rose-infused products
there. Transfer to Ouarzazate, also known as “Morocco’s Hollywood,” for dinner and overnight

Ouarzazate

At the intersection of the Dades and Draa Valley lies the relaxed Moroccan town of Ouarzazate. Surrounded by some unbelievably picturesque terrain, the town is characterized by the red-glowing kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou, the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains, and the spectacular Sahara Desert with its rolling dunes, vast canyons, and deep gorges. These exotic backdrops have served as the location for a slew of Hollywood movies which have turned this once sleepy town into Morocco’s version of Hollywood. The town is a popular stopover point for tourists on their way to the Sahara. Its palm-fringed boulevards are lined with grand palaces, bustling souks, old adobe buildings, and film studios. Its an ideal location for hanging out at one of the many charming cafés, sampling some delicious local Moroccan cuisine and perhaps even spotting one of the many celebrities who frequent this fascinating North African city.

Overnight: Dar Chamaa

Situated in a serene environment inside Ouarzazate’s palm grove, Dar Chamaa boasts magnificent views of the Atlas mountains. Guests have a choice of comfortably furnished standard and superior rooms, as well as suites. An on-site restaurant, as well as a tea lounge, is available for dining, and guests can unwind with drinks at the bar. Day 6: Opera Plaza Hotel Marrakech, Marrakesh  

Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech 
Enjoy the city tour of Ouarzazate, beginning with the  Taourirt  Kasbah.  The latter is considered one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in the country and the film studios, where some of the most famous desert landscapes are being shot.  Continue  to  the  spectacular  fortress  of  Ait  Ben  Haddou,  the  iconic  landscape immortalized in films such as, Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Leave Ait Ben Haddou crossing  the High  Atlas
Mountains via the magnificent Tiz In Tichka pass (2262m) to Marrakech for overnight

Marrakesh

Situated to the north of the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and fringing the famed Sahara, the bustling UNESCO-listed city of Marrakesh is an enchanting travel destination in Morocco. It’s easy to lose all sense of time in Marrakech, with its maze of narrow alleyways scattered with donkey carts, snake charmers, castanetists, acrobats, story-tellers, dancers, water-sellers and potion vendors to entertain. If you don’t find all of these as you journey through the winding streets of the ‘Red City’, you will be sure to find them and much, much more at its famous markets. Marrakesh is home to the largest traditional Berber market in Morocco and one of the busiest squares in the world, known as Djemaa el Fna. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this square in the evening as it transforms into an enormous, open-air restaurant.

Overnight: Opera Plaza Hotel Marrakech

Day 7: Marrakesh

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of  Marrakesh.  We  start  at  Djemaa  el  Fna,  the  central  square  and
Marrakesh’s heartbeat surrounded by bazaars, mosques, terraced cafes, snake charmers, fire-eaters, and
fortune-tellers. After the visit, we stop at the Koutoubia Minaret, the oldest of the three great Almohad
towers, and the Bahia Palace, a marvelous display of painted wood, ceramics, and symmetrical gardens. We
then proceed to Tiskiwine museum which houses an impressive collection of North African arts and crafts.
The museum, which was founded by a Dutch anthropologist, is organized into geographically themed
exhibits, with each room focusing on artifacts from different towns and regions along the ancient trade
route from Marrakech to Timbuktu. The works on display include exquisite hand-woven carpets and textiles,
traditional Berber clothing and jewelry, intricate basketwork and tribal handicrafts.  Later enjoy a tour by a
walk through the old medina and the labyrinth of souks. Overnight in the Marrakech

Day 8: MarrakeshCasablanca – Depart  

After breakfast, we will assist you to Marrakech airport for your return flight.
