With a menu full of breakfast staples along with some creative items, everyone can find something to fill their bellies at Yolk! Beware, it gets very busy, so come early! 

Say Hi to Sue the T Rex

The Field Museum in Chicago has the most complete T rex skeleton on the planet! You can visit them and the rest of the dinosaurs in the Genius Hall of Dinosaurs in the museum. Have lunch at Revival Food Hall

Revival Food Hall has all local-owned restaurants featuring the best the Chicago dining scene has to offer. There is something for everyone here! Some of the restaurants include Antique Taco Chiquito, with their farmer’s market style tacos, Danke, a sandwich shop with some charcuterie chops, and Furious Spoon, an all homemade noodle ramen shop. 

Revel in the beauty of the Impressionist masters 

The Art Institute of Chicago has one of the best collections of Impressionist paintings in the world. Their collection includes Monet’s Water Lilies, Renoir’s Two Sisters (On the Terrace) and the gigantic A Sunday on La Grande Jatte — 1884, by Seurat. The Museum has a lot more to offer, but with limited time, go for the Impressionists! 

Dine at Frontera Grill

Chef Rick Bayless was responsible for the popularization of Latin American cuisine in the US, and his creativity hasn’t stopped. Fronter Grill is his first outpost of Latin American flavors in Chicago.  Try the Cochinita Pibl, slow-roasted Achiote-marinated suckling pig, on Wednesdays or the Duck in Guajillo-pear sauce! 

Take in a show in a historic Chicago Theatre

Broadway in Chicago has a lot of wonderful show options for your evening’s entertainment. Chicago usually gets productions directly from Broadway so you get to see the big names in theatre! Make sure to get your tickets before you travel so you can see the show that you want in the price range that’s best for you!
